2nd year I have used this, still cutting great and sailed through the first cut after winter.manages my 180m2 lawn with 2 lights still showing on both battery’s. cuts well collects ok ,stripes great. bragged it of so much to my son that we had a lawn cut challenge against his petrol mower on his overgrown 10″at least lawn. result a draw. but no smelly petrol or noise or cables.this is a good mower only gripe stupid fiddley rear wheel hight adjuster, but how many times do you need to adjust.good sturdy light mower. big bonus starts at the push of a button.

I took the machine home set it up charged up the two batteries which took 2 1/2 hours. I set the cut on high as the grass was a little bit longer than usual as I had broken my old mower and could not afford another until my pension came in. I installed the two batteries and started to mow the cut was splendid until the battery power failed the batteries were flat after’ 17 minutes I returned the machine and exchanged it for another make. I purchased two additional batteries in case the batteries were as bad as the other one. The batteries last longer but I do need to replace them to complete the job. I had to spend an additional 39£ .

Originally I bought this to cut grass in an empty cottage miles away so having a large cutting diameter plus being light and collapsible was the selling factor for me. Always had a petrol mower before this. While a bit apprehensive the first time I used it I found it cut the grass AND left stripes with a roller, all be it plastic, on the back. Two batteries cut a big front lawn and a rear lawn smaller but very over grown. I was so impressed that I now use it on my own lawns. I have found that I use just the two batteries to cut an awful lot of grass. I cut at level 2 for some, level 3 for the bigger lawn and level 4 for the drive. The niggles are the rear height adjuster as it is quite hard to see the figures. The other bug bear is that the blades are not easy to get. I had to buy a spare from a third party supplier. I often hit a few stones! The blades are easy to remove and sharpen but I wish they were off the shelf at Homebase like other brands. No petrol used to cut my lawns for nearly two years and that is a plus.

I bought this mower because all my tools through out my working life have been Stanley because of the high quality. I have to say that I am dissatisfied with the mower. It is very easy to use, it is very light in weight and it looks good. My mower, which I have only used twice before the cutting season finished, does not cut evenly. It leaves lines of long grass even when you go over the lawn in narrow lines and the revs constantly go up and down, fast and slow. Will give it another go in the spring but I think I will be returning it for a replacement.

If lawn is a bowling green and grass bone dry the mower is great. But if you have slightly uneven lawn on the lower 2 settings the front continually runs aground at the slightest imperfection, basically grade 3 or above is ok for most lawns unless you have a bowling green. Love the wide deck saves bundles of time, does leave decent stripes BUT struggles like mad to pick up damp grass which creates loads of additional collecting esp when turning around as it spits out the uncollected grass everywhere & blocks the outlet a lot. Customer service was shocking

Used it for the first time in my garden today. Delighted how lawn turned out. The batteries lasted very well as I have a large garden and when I was finished mowing there was still power in the batteries.

Very easy to assemble and quite lightweight so easy to manoeuvre. Battery lasts a good while too.
