Powerbase 37cm 40V Cordless Lawn Mower
د.م.159.00
Description
This 40v Powerbase cordless lawn mower comes supplied with 2 x 20v, 2.5Ah batteries (both batteries must be inserted into the machine when in use) and a 2 hour dual port charger. The mower has a 37cm cutting width and is powerful with brushless motor. As this mower is cordless, there is no need for petrol and no cables to contend with, therefore provides the freedom of petrol but without the fuss.
The Powerbase cordless lawn mower has so many features it would be hard to find a comparable product – full bale on/off lever for optimum user comfort, rear roller for a striped lawn effect, front and side grass combs for improved cutting performance, quality 45 litre grass collection bag with fill indicator, 7 one-button adjusted cutting heights (25-75mm), large diameter rear wheel for improved manoeuvrability. The handle comes with quick release fixings and therefore is easily folded for improved storage.

It’s probably worth the price, but I wish I’d spent more for better. The whole thing feels flimsy when I’m pushing it around. It’s heavy compared to my previous mains-powered mower.
In the first 30 seconds the rear roller came off as I pulled the mower backwards, went into the blades and got sliced up.
Judging battery life is so hard and variable. I’ve found on my 210 sqm lawn it will just last the time on a low-effort, dry mow that fills the hopper up twice. At worst, with longer grass, it took three full charges to get round.
The indicator flap on the hopper to indicate when it’s full doesn’t do anything so I’m still peeking inside regularly to see if it’s full up.
On the plus side, it was easy to assemble (though as you only do that once it’s not important to me), I can fold it up easily for storage, and the batteries charge up quickly enough (and I like that I can charge both simultaneously). And, most obviously, not having a wire means I can get it round the lawn unhindered.
Overall, it’s ‘fine’ but I’m very underwhelmed and, with hindsight, I wish I’d spent more money and bought a better brand – or save it all and just get a longer extension cable to reach the end of the lawn!

Had the mower a few weeks. Used less than 5 times and roller has snapped off. Roller is cheap plastic and not secured in. Cut well but not sure how long it will last.
EVM –
didn’t know much about lawn mowers, 1st I thought it was just me until a few attempts and I know it’s just a terrible mower. Batteries die before I finish and are to hot to recharge. Truely awful.

The roller fell off the first time I used it ,put it back on 2nd time I used it came off again and went under the blade and got chewed up it didn’t do much to be honest had to take the whole mower back to get replacement and I was gutted as they’d reduced it by more than £50 ,I’m guessing they’re not selling very well wish I’d bought a better model now

Found the roller came off quickly this needs to be reigned or fitted Cuts well and is a good price I will invest in the range value for money.

Easy to use and good value.

Only used it once but so far no problems. Easy to use. I haven’t got a very big lawn and I am pleased with how little battery was used.

Used for two months rear roller than snapped off. Cheap rubbish not fit for purpose.
