First impression of the mower was it felt very light but after the second use and setting the cutting height to the lowest cut I am very impressed with the great look of the lawns.

On the 2nd charge, there was a loud pop noise from the AL1830 CV charger that came with the mower. The charger was smoking a little bit and was too hot to touch. Because it had been over a month since purchase I contacted Bosch support whose advice was to return to manufacturer for investigation/repair. To return they are only able to organise collection the next working day, if that’s not convenient you have to call them back another day and go through the whole process again. They are also unable to say how long the repair/replacement process will take. In the end, impatience got the better of me so I just bought a new charger so I could actually mow the lawn rather than have to wait for a convenient date to return the charger to Bosch then wait for the charger to be returned to me. Absolutely no complaints with the mower itself, easy to assemble and cuts the grass just fine once you’ve managed to actually charge the battery.

Only ought the mower yesterday and assembled in afternoon. Took quite awhile to finish as I followed th instruction leaflet but could not get it fitted properly as the instructions are wrong. The upper push arm needs to go to the outside of the lower arms for it to align correctly and the securing bolt to fit the square end into the square holes. However my experience of other Osch battery tools has been very good and have no reason to suspect otherwise win the lawn mower.
Migroo –
A more powerful battery is required.

A good light weight mower that does the job well. The battery easily lasts the time it takes to mow our medium sized lawn. Very pleased with this machine.

We have an 8.6 x 6.5-metre garden and it’s perfect for us, It can get right up to the edge of the fence and is super easy to push along with no issues, the basket is big enough to do the entire garden without needing to empty between. It picks up all the cuttings without issue. It takes no time at all to do with it, and it’s really lightweight too.
My only small gripe is when you remove the basket a bit of the grass can fall out because of the way it’s angled.
Babs –
Grass collection useless, very wappy. Only works if grass is short.
GK –
Easy to use.Easy to lift.

This does give a really nice cut, and it’s mega easy to whizz around the garden (can do with one hand), and having no lead is a revelation. I got this for my mum as she started to mow over her lead on the old one (2 cuts and then I said no more!) It’s not as powerful as a regular corded mower, and this can be heard when in use (it whirs rather than powers along) and it does fuss when there is slight dampness in the grass. I’d say if you have a small ish to medium grass area (hers is about 80 foot long and 20 foot wide) then this should do the job. Great for older folk who maybe can’t handle the weight or the cord on a traditional one. I was pretty impressed with the cut. Battery lasts about half an hour, it took longer than one hour to re charge (maybe 2 hours).
