Aquarius symbol cut from penny coin as Keyring or Bag charm

Description

This is a symbol of the astrological sign Aquarius, the Water Bearer. Hand cut into a pre-decimal bronze penny coin with a fine-bladed jewellers saw – NOT with a machine/laser. 3cms across. The one shown is from 1967. If the date is important to you, I may have other dates in stock (if they were minted in the year you require) that could be cut but obviously this would take a little more time to cut it specifically for you. Please be aware, the older the coin, the less likely it will be mint or near-mint condition.(1967 was the last proper mint year) This is the only item that I make that the fitting, in this case the metal keyring mechanism itself, is NOT sterling silver, just silver coloured metal. Despatched wrapped in tissue paper and organza bag via the Royal Mail standard service in the UK. FYI – Bronze is 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc; it represents the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version. Aquarius birthdays are Jan 20th – Feb 18th. It is illegal to deface the monarch’s image if the coin is still legal tender. The pre-decimal coins that I use are no longer legal tender – and I also have a license to do what I do.
