Powerbase 710W Electric Hedge Trimmer – 66cm
د.م.69.00
Description
This extra large, 66cm Powerbase corded hedge trimmer gives you 710W of power. The long blade means more hedge will be cut with each pass, and the result will be a cleaner and smarter looking hedge. To help you cut in tight places or on top of the hedge, the rear handle can rotate by up to 90 degrees in each direction, so you can get the optimum cutting position no matter where on the hedge you are cutting. The blades are laser cut – this means that they stay sharper for longer. And with a powerful 710W motor and teeth spaced up to 24mm apart, this hedge trimmer can tackle the toughest of hedges.
For your safety, the dual operating switch prevents accidental operation. An extra long, 10m power cable makes it ideal for most gardens by reducing the need for extension cables.
All Powerbase Garden Products include a 3 year guarantee.

Really good, powerful and relentless hedge trimmer. Trimmed my whole garden with it and it dealt with it all. I had very thick overgrown hedges with fat branches. Can feel a little heavy after a while
Don’t buy –
I’ve only had these hedge trimmers a year and the blade has stopped moving, I have taken the housing off but can not find why it will not work.

Used it first time yesterday and it was brilliant cutting large hedges. Cutting branches 10-
12mm diameter no problem. Weight of machine quite light compared to others. Extra long mains lead great but with one draw back.
During use the two pin mains lead connector parts company when it gets snagged by a & branch, most frustrating. Why did they not take the mains lead straight in to the handle and do away with the annoying two pin connection. To overcome the problem l looped the mains lead around the handle to alleviate any strain put on the lead by a branch and from there on I had no repetition of the two pin connector pulling undone.

The Trimmer is good, does it’s job, nice long cutting blade. The cable plug connector is poor, pulls out really easy when using it. First time of using I changed the male / female connector to a kettle plug, works great. Can’t think why they supplied it with the connector they did.

Two and a half months after the two year guarantee and the end of the cutter blade snapped off, l was really concerned about this as l only use it twice a year maximum, cannot use it anymore as the blades do not line up when switching on and it will not cut anymore.

A large hedge clipper which works okay but is not very flexible and very heavy. Also it would be better if the handle moves up and down rather from side to side.

Had this hedge trimmer 12 days ago and the motor worked. , but the blades wouldn’t move, took it back and the staff replaced it which was good, but later that day , the replacement new one also started showing signs of again of the motor working but the blades kept stopping intermittently, there is obviously a problem with the make now which is frustrating , looking for a new model as the current one doesn’t instil confidence in its ability to simply cur the hedge
