Description
This is a 1967 penny coin. 3cms across. The dog has been hand cut out with a small jewellers saw, NOT by machine/laser. It was the first dog sample I made when first learning to cut coins and didn’t really show a tail – later ones have one! This is the only item that I make that the fitting, in this case the metal keyring mechanism itself, is NOT sterling silver. Despatched wrapped in tissue paper and organza bag via the Royal Mail standard service in the UK. (Extra items added to the order will need an additional postal charge and upgraded to my usual Royal Mail Signed For service). Cleaning guide provided. FYI – Bronze is 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc; it represents the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version. It is illegal to deface the queen’s image if the coin is still legal tender. The pre-decimal coins that I use are no longer legal tender – and I also have a license to do what I do.
